I'm Anna Lou Leibovitz, better known as Annie Leibovitz.
I'm an American photographer, born in Waterbury Connecticut. My speciality are portraits, I'm the first woman to expose in the National Portrait Gallery. I began taking photos in concerts, especially in The Rolling Stones concerts.
I like art thanks to my mother who was a dancer. I began the college, so many years ago, with the intention of studying painting, intime I returned to photography, I took photos sinces I was a child and the college opened my eyes.
I worked in the magazine Rolling Stone for ten years and became chief photographer. In that job I had the opportunity to take the last photograph of John Lennon before he died, I took the photo the same day he was murdered.
I had a relationship Susan Sontag since 1989 until her death in 2004 and I have three children Sara, Susan and Samuel.
